Terms & Conditions

The present terms & conditions define the framework of the sales contracted through the www.meemoza.ca site.

These conditions only concern non-trading natural individuals, of at least 18 years of age who have the legal capacity to contract.

We reserve ourselves the right to adapt or modify at any moment the present terms & conditions. In the event of modifications, the terms & conditions effective on the day the order is placed will be applied.

The visuals, pictures, technical data, weight, measures and other text descriptions that are available on the www.meemoza.ca site are only given for informational purpose.

A. Intellectual Property

Every texts, logos, drawings and pictures found on the website or distributed in the newsletters are solely and fully the property of the company Christoph Burg (hereinafter referred to as Meemoza). Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, is forbidden without the prior authorisation of Meemoza.

B. Orders

Products are sold in the limit of available stocks. In the event of a stock shortage or of any unavailability problem, we undertake the responsibility to inform you, either when the order is placed or in the best delays by e-mail or mail. You will then only be charged for the shipped and available items. The final validation of the order takes place after the payment is validated. An e-mail will be sent to you after you have placed you order, to confirm that it has been registered, along with a summary of the ordered articles and the shipping address.

C. Prices

All prices given on the site are in Canadian dollars, without taxes or shipping fees. They can be modified at any moment. Those modifications do not apply to orders that are payed for. Taxes only apply to Canadian residents. Quebec is liable to GST and QST. The rest of Canada is only liable to GST. Please note that once you entered you contact information (either as a guest or by creating an account), the taxes applicable to your area will be calculated in the Shopping Basket. Shipping fees will also be calculated according to the delivery address.

D. Payment

Payment of purchase is done by credit card through Paypal. You will be asked to indicate the card number, its expiry date, and the name of the card holder. For more security, you will also be asked the card’s verification number, being the last three digits on the back of your card, close to your signature. For more information, see the Payment Securisation section. It’s Paypal that guarantees your financial information’s protection. 

All of your financial information (credit card number, card holder, expiry date, verification number) is processed by Paypal and is in no case recorded by us. It is sent in a crypted format by Paypal.

Paypal is a certified organisation, leader in the online transaction field, which is using the best systems available on the market for security and fraud prevention.

E. Exchanges & Returns

The client has 14 days after the purchase to ask for the exchange or reimbursement of a product ordered on www.meemoza.ca. This can be done, firstly in written form (for example by letter or e-mail) and by returning the merchandise. The client must mention his name, his complete contact information, the order number, and the reason of the return, and if need be, the size requested in exchange. It is possible to exchange for other articles than those originally purchased, for up to the value of the returned order. Please note that merchandise reduced by more than 31% is a final sale, and cannot be returned nor exchanged.

It is the customer’s responsibility to take note of the measurements given in the Fit Guidelines Chart of each model. Please have a look at the measurements and make sure that you choose the right size according to your measurements.

In the event of a return made because of a quality or manufacturing problem, we will cover the return costs.

Articles returned damaged, or soiled by the client will not be accepted. We cannot reimburse or exchange worn or washed clothing.

Apart from defective items, return costs are at the client’s expense. The reimbursement of the merchandise’s value will be made within 30 days from reception of the returned products. In the event of unjustified or abusive returns we reserve the right to refuse future orders.

F. Website Availability

We do everything in our power to guarantee the navigation safety of our website, and the quality of your experience. However, we cannot guarantee that the access to our site is uninterrupted and without error, or that the site is exempt from viruses or other dangerous components. We do not give any express or implicit guarantee, or especially guarantees regarding the availability and conformity of the site’s functions and the ability of the site to meet the expectations or needs of the user. Meemoza shall not be held responsible of direct or indirect damages resulting from the user’s impossibility to use the site.

G. Applicable Law

In the event of litigation, an amicable solution will be sought before any judiciary actions. Any claims related to the www.meemoza.ca site are governed by the federal and provincial laws of Canada. Only the courts and tribunals of the Montreal judicial district have sole competence.

H. Delivery

We deliver to Canada (except for Manitoba) and the United States. Delivery can take from 1 to 3 weeks according to the delivery area and stock’s availability.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery area. They also depend on the delivery method that you choose.

Delivery cannot be assured in « force majeure » circumstances, for example, strike of postal services.

It is possible to track and follow your parcel with a tracking number that will be remitted to you. We cannot be held responsible for deliveries once they are given to Canada Post. We decline any responsibility regarding delays, theft, loss or any other damages related to transportation. In the event of litigation, the client must deal directly with the society responsible for the shipment of the package.
